15th Annual Russell Run
The 15th Annual Russell Run was a huge success! Congratulations to all who participated in this year. Your training paid off!

But we are not a yearly event
A Message from the Race Director
Every year at the Russell Run, I share a different message. Sometimes it's something we've accomplished, a lesson learned, or a reflection on how far we've come.
This year, my message was about the future and legacy of Russell Run Club.
Over the past five years, a dedicated core group of volunteers has worked tirelessly to build the club into what it is today. From Learn to Run clinics and weekly group runs to kids' and teen programs, we've created something we're incredibly proud of.
But as we celebrate another successful Russell Run, we're also looking ahead.
What will Russell Run Club look like five years from now? How do we continue to grow while making sure the programs and events we've worked so hard to establish are still around for years to come?
One thing I've come to realize is that our core group won't be here forever. Myself included. Life happens. Work, family, changing priorities. Eventually, people move on, and that's okay.
But for the club to continue, we need others willing to step forward. New faces, fresh ideas, different experiences and, most importantly, new leadership.
As we begin planning the next chapter of Russell Run Club, we'll be looking for people interested in becoming board members, coaches, program leaders and volunteers. There will be opportunities to get involved, whether you have a little time to give or want to take on a larger role.
We've spent the past five years building something pretty special. Now it's time to make sure it lasts.
Until next year.
~Coach Michelle (Oct 29/26)
