ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The 10K Training Clinic is designed for runners who are comfortable running consistently and want to prepare for a 10K event or work toward improving their overall fitness and endurance. Whether this is your first 10K or you’re aiming for a stronger, more confident race, this clinic provides structured training, expert guidance, and supportive group accountability.
Note
This is an in-person, group-based training clinic. Training plans and general guidance are provided, and light individual adjustments can be made based on your intake form. If you are looking for ongoing one-on-one feedback, detailed weekly plan revisions, or individualized performance coaching, please consider 1:1 Coaching option.

Thursday Evenings 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
January 29 to April 23, 2026 (12 weeks)
No session February 19, 2026
End of First Ave. Russell, ON
(meeting location may vary depending on workout)
Who is this program for?
This clinic is ideal for runners who:
Can run comfortably 3 or more days per week.
Are currently running 10–15 km/week.
Comfortable completing a 4–6 km long run
Have run a 5K or have equivalent endurance and want to progress to the 10K distance.
Want structured training with accountability, coaching, and a supportive environment.

Program Features
1. Structured Training Plans
Delivered in two-week blocks via email/clinic website.
Includes 3-5 weekly training sessions (based on experience and goals).
2. Individualized Support
Personalized adjustments/recommendations based on your intake form, which outlines your fitness level, schedule, and goals.
Regular feedback to help track your progress and overcome challenges.
3. Group Training Opportunities
Weekly group runs to foster accountability and motivation.
Opportunities to join established running groups for additional training.
4. Regular Check-Ins
Weekly check-ins (one-on-one or group) to discuss progress, answer questions, and make necessary adjustments.
5. Themes to be Discussed Include
Nutrition/hydration, shoes, run clothing, run accessories, warming-up/cooling-down, racing, running locations, running benefits, running form technique, breathing, training strategy, safety tips and more
Expectations
Success in the program requires active participation and communication. Athletes are encouraged to:
Stay consistent with their training.
Reflect on their progress and challenges.
Share feedback with the coach regularly.
Fees
$95.00 — Russell Run Club Members
$120.00 — Non-Members

Please Note:
Race registration and membership is not included
Fees are not pro-rated for late registration
Full refunds available within 7 days of the program start
After the 7-day grace period and before the second session, refunds are subject to a $30 administrative fee
To receive the member rate, you must have an active 2026 membership at the time of registration. Please check your membership confirmation email for the member discount code
If you purchase a membership afterward, the price difference will not be refunded.
